6.1: The Initial Dashboard Template

Firstly, we will determine the layout of the dashboard, so as to identify

the elements in the dashboards
position of the variables, and
possible interaction between the elements.

6.1.1: Rationale of the Layout Design

The layout of the template is designed with the following concept in mind;

simple : Without too many components in the layouts, only essential information are displayed
clean : reader should be able to locate the element for selection easily, with clear header
relevant tool for analysis: Provided a good summary of overview of the analysis, allow zoom-in when necessary, and enable filtering into the details to dig out in-depth insights
