In a nutshell, Wantedly can be summarised with two simple points:

  • Japan's LinkedIn, but much better
    • It harnesses the power of people's recommendation through social media
  • Social Recruiting Platform
    • This platform showcases jobs from clients that you, as users, would be interested in


BELIEF/MOTIVATION

They have beliefs from two different perspective:

  • Company's Perspective: Good Hires happens through Mutual Friend's Recommendations
    • These friend recommendations somewhat guarantees the quality of candidates to an extent
  • User's Perspective: Good Chance of meeting a Good Team through Mutual Friends
    • By joining a company that your mutual friend is in, it increases the likelihood that you would have great chemistry in the team
