* Provides human-powered, community verified, crowdsourced content.
* More than 2.5 million registered users, 170 countries and $0 marketing effort as of March 2014
* Provides accurate, cost effective, real time translations that can be accessed from your mobile phone (iOS/android) and on the web
* Enables user to read social media in their native language
* Aids user to translate languages in images, audio, text
* If you’re a translator, you can earn points, which can be exchanged for real goods AND you get to earn a good reputation among your fellow flitto members.

Mission

According to the National Geographic Enduring Voices Project, “Every 14 days a language dies. By 2100, more than half of the more than 7,000 languages spoken on Earth – many of them not yet recorded – may disappear, taking with them a wealth of knowledge about history, culture, the natural environment, and the human brain.” As this quote shows, languages typically portray a culture, but many of them are disappearing. Our vision at Flitto is to help preserve these languages and cultures by allowing the millions of multilingual people around the world to completely break the language barriers through translations in a dynamic, fun, and interactive way.

Vision

We want people to refer to Flitto ("just Flitto it") when they need translations, just as how people say "just google it" when they need to search for something.

Simon was the only translator and would spend the entire day translating tweets and pushing them to celebrities and fans on Twitter.
