ACT#04 - Understand What is Vital
and What is Incidental.

“The principle difficulty in your case,” remarked Holmes in his didactic fashion,
“lay in the fact of there being too much evidence. What was vital was overlaid and hidden by what was irrelevant.
Of all the facts which were presented to us we had to pick just those which we deemed to be essential,
and then piece them together in their order, so as to reconstruct this very remarkable chain of events.”

From Part 2 : What's Vital? The Motive

From Part2 of Act#4, Dino has decided to focus on those that are near the crime zone, between 8AM to 12PM. This is because,

  1. Dino Holmes believes that the system should be able to track at least the movement or the check-in of the culprit.
  2. With this assumption, a total of 3465 remain, including ID 1765818.
  3. Since we have already proved that ID ID1765818 is not the culprit, thus; the remaining should be 3464 instead.

Also, Dino Holmes also attempted to explain, Why she doesn't zoom into this analysis directly?; which she could have do so. She explained that

  1. It is always important to eliminate who's total impossible first (Act #3), so that we are of higher certainty that the remaining suspects, are real suspects.

Note: Strong assumption may have seem to be made here, but it is not without purpose and irrationality.
