Why Virtual TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM? I've always been interested in how startups leverage technology to enhance businesses models and disrupt incumbents. I want to explore the most interesting start-ups, learn about the next big thing, live and breathe the entrepreneurial environment, and hopefully to be inspired.
- Where would you like to visit virtually? Silicon Valley! It's the centre for startup activity - I'm sure it'd be very different from the culture in Singapore. I have often heard that SV is a much more nurturing environment for startups compared to Singapore, and have always wondered whether this can be boiled down to cultural differences between the two countries. If so, I'd love to learn what makes the place "tick".
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you? SaaS - scalability of services, pay as you go subscription models, abstraction from the nitty gritty(and ease of use for customers).
- What plan do you have in starting a business? Honestly, I don't have a real plan at the moment. Hoping to get some inspiration somehow somewhere.
