Why Virtual TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?.
I am someone who is heavily invested in technology that would help the people and the environment. I believe that TSM will be able to provide me the opportunity to pursue my interests as Silicon Valley is at the forefront in developing smart city technology since it houses many startups working on AI, IoT, FoodTech. MedTech etc. Additionally, working in a startup, SWAT mobility inspires me a lot to know more about the startup scene and how they start from an idea, all the way to becoming a business.
- Where would you like to visit virtually?
Silicon Valley, Seoul, Shen Zhen and Tel Aviv
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
Technology businesses in the area of smart city technologies, geospatial and IoT. Some examples are Hayden Ai, blackshark.ai and smart cloud farming.
- What plan do you have in starting a business?
This year over summer break, my friends came together to start a company called Eminence Grey where we tap on personal connections from VC, family offices and school Investment club in China and Singapore to create a platform for connections between companies and finance students, mentor students to write analyst reports and many more. We are still in the midst of building up the company by phases and monetizing it soon.
Additionally, my Co-founder, Arick, and I started Smart Cities Youth Network which was branched out from Smart Cities Network. We are currently working with LDR technology to come up with an AR and VR for MOE to teach students about sustainability initiatives done by Our Tampines Hub.
In near future, my sister who studying Architecture in SUTD, and i hope to start a company where we can incorporate our skills and interests to either create a startup or be a consulting firm for urban planning etc.

- Data analyst at Ministry of Sustainability and Environment (May 2021-Aug 2021)
Projects:
- 1st place for Code for Cities with Surbana Jurong x SMU Anthill Society Hackathon Summer 2021
- 1 of the 50 chosen participants from Singapore and Hong Kong for JP Morgan 2021 APAC Finance for Non-Finance Program
- Youth member for Smart Cities Network where I worked with companies such as G element, Graffiquo and LDR technology to come up with projects for MOE and schools

I believe that this world has a lot more opportunities for me that I have yet to explore and enjoy
