Why Virtual TSM?

  • What motivates you to join TSM?

I have always wondered about the differences between the environments of incubators in Singapore and those in Silicon Valley. I am interested in the unique elements of Silicon Valley that spurs the creation of successful people and companies. I noticed how design is sometimes the centre of their thoughts (even for companies in STEM) and I would love to see how different companies apply design thinking or other methodologies to help them ideate, create and accelerate their businesses in technology.

  • Where would you like to visit virtually?

Silicon Valley, Shen Zhen in China

Starting a business

  • What types of business interest you?

Businesses dealing with transactions, where a city can be made smarter or more interconnected with the pervasive use of e-payments.

  • What plan do you have in starting a business?

My business would be one that actively supports climate change through the research and production of alternative meat. Would probably need to get a masters in this field and good mentors.

Past Experiences

  • I ever interned for a short while at a start-up focusing on empowering younger students with technical skills. I learnt the ropes of the social entrepreneurship world.

What keeps you ticking?

  • Singapore could be a smarter city! Things could be better.
