One of the biggest limitations of our study is the lack of completeness in the data received. For instance, while we were able to identify general trends, we were not able to establish a causal relationship between their transaction monetary value and approved-to-rejected transaction ratio.
Establishing causality requires alternative explanations for the observed relationship between two variables to be ruled out . As the variables we would work on were limited, we cannot rule out whether a false relationship exists when what appears to be an association between transaction monetary value and approved-to-rejected transaction ratio is actually caused by other unknown variables.
