Data Preparation
1) BG_5_EEA_Combine was joined with metadata to obtain more information on the official stations.
2) Date field was created by splitting the original Datetime Begin column
3) Calculation Parameter and a calculated field on the formula were created to facilitate data exploratory by allowing user to select the aggregation required.
4) Common Air Quality Index was computed to understand the proportion of time in which citizen experience healthy level of PM10 pollution.
Data Cleaning was then done by creating group in order to filter data out to be used for analysis.
Dashboard Design
Objective of dashboard design is to facilitate data discovery by empowering user to self help with the dashboard.
Key features include
- Allow user to select the options of their interest and title will change dynamically.
- User can select the respective aggregation and have a side by side Time Series plots for comparison
- Calendar view for more conventional way of looking at time related data.
Data Preparation
Data was cleaned in Tableau with the use of group to select data points in Sofia City and to remove outliers from the data.
