Hi Yale, very impressive piece of work! Just a couple of points I have to make below for your consideration.
Clarity
- Some lead-in for your figures will be probably useful. Many people including myself may be unfamiliar with the spectral bands etc.
- No titles for your figures
- You may want to do a peaks and troughs analysis by adding in some annotations in your line graph
- Your y-axis for the line graph is starting at 110 which may mislead the audience
Aesthetics
- Good usage of animations but the speed can probably be tuned slower and you may want to include that in your answers section instead.
- Good color choices to distinguish the different geographical features

Hi, Mr. Zhang, Great effort on this mini-challenge 3! All questions are fully covered and clearly illustrated on this wiki page.
It worth pointing out that it's really helpful to write some explanation/illustration within your workbook. It really helps me out and inspires me how to make mine assignment more understandable.
For the visualization part:
1) impressive work on Qgis, actually I tried it in my mini challenge 1 but I didn't figure it out.
2) actually I don't really get it what's the meaning of the negative value of NDVI.
Generally Speaking, you have a really good job

Hi YanRong,
Well done! I am impressed with the research and work you have done to process the satellite images using Tableau and QGIS. I especially like how you managed to highlight and cluster the different features. Here are some suggestions to improve the visual analytics:
- You could introduce a X and Y filter to enable the user to zoom into the area of interest. You have very good histograms and spatial filtering could allow the user to eliminate unwanted artefacts and objects like clouds.
- I would slow down the animation so that the user can better understand the changes.
All the best,
David Ten Kao Yuan

From LUO Mandi: I am not clear about how you define the property of certain regions in your data preparation work. It would be much appreciated if you can show the details of the measurement.

Overall, very interesting analysis and easy to understand visuals. Your construction image is interesting. Please see if you make it larger for both aesthetic and clarity reasons.
