  • Might be difficult and complex for farmers and extension workers to use, though might resolve illiteracy issue
  • Voice is very bland and difficult to understand
  • Loses emphasis on certain words in the sentence
  • Recorded voice might be better

01 IRRI suggested that pre-recorded voices would be a friendlier solution Investigated if we can support pre-recorded voices as a replacement for Text-to-Speech. System worked well, no significant changes necessary.
