Mid-Term Individual Reflection
Working on this project has been great so far. I’ve been able to greatly contribute to each of the sub-sections that we are working on from the technical and managerial side, for which I am glad. Being given equal opportunity is important for me. The feedback we’ve received so far has been motivating and I’ve learnt that to please a client, we need to do exactly, or much more, than what the client envisions from you. It requires a lot more hard work, but it’s worth it. The team, I think, requires a little bit more bonding, knowing that everyone comes from different backgrounds. Although it may seem bad, it has its positives too. Since the team doesn’t merely comprise of friends, there is efficiency and respect for the work and each other. As a project manager, I have learned the importance of knowing how to manage people and manage the time that we have for the project. I have gained new insight on development using the programming language C# and feel that my technical abilities have grown tremendously which leads to being more confident.
