Why TSM?
What motivates you to join TSM? Having been interested in the field of entrepreneurship, I believe that this would provide a great opportunity to be exposed to the technopreneurship space beyond our country's borders. Being a student ambassador of the LKYGBPC provided me more insight of the startup space, as well as the potential opportunities that SMU provides. However, Silicon Valley is still at the forefront of emerging technological trends, having this opportunity will provide valuable insights into the future of technology and its potential impact on various industries, allowing me to stay ahead on the latest trends.
Where would you like to visit? It's Silicon Valley so anything goes!
- I would love to visit big companies such as Google and Apple, where I get to learn how big corporations are able to get to where they are today.
- I would also love to visit some universities where we are able to network with young founders. By the end of the trip, I do hope that I am able to make new friends and gain valuable insights :D
- Finally, Venture Capital firms such as Y Combinator or Sequoia Capital would be perfect, where we are able to understand what goes on towards funding of promising startups, and what makes them worthy of investments
