Why Virtual TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
As a double degree student in Business and Information Systems, I've always sought to reconcile my knowledge in the 2 disciplines. Technopreneurship is one area that I feel will allow me to synthesize my business acumen and my technological skillsets, which is why I am extremely interested in joining TSM. Furthermore, I believe that TSM would equip me with greater insights into entrepreneurship as a whole, which would assist me in my entrepreneurship journey.
- Where would you like to visit virtually?
US (Silicon Valley of course!) Japan (Since Japanese is my third language)
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
I feel strongly for businesses that can value-add not only to their customers but to society at large. These include social enterprises or businesses that incorporate the idea of giving back to the community in their overall strategy. Apart from this, I am also quite fond of businesses that improve on an existing idea and eventually solidify the new version into a new norm.
- What plans do you have in starting a business?
I am currently in the midst of setting up a Coding Academy with my Partners. The experience thus far has equipped me with real-world knowledge on the nitty-gritty of entrepreneurship and I believe that this is a huge stepping stone for me to grow as an entrepreneur. I definitely do have plans to continue my entrepreneurship journey and I will keep searching for my "unicorn".
