Why Virtual TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?.
I am very interested in exploring the technological fields in other countries. As the technology landscape is changing constantly, I believe it is crucial to understand how the countries with good tech talent pools are improving technologies and the various applications. My experiences in working for and with various start-ups help me understand how entrepreneurs need to figure out the appropriate usage of technology stack available to them in order to achieve their business goals, be it supply chain management and understanding their customer base. Thus, I want to continue learning more about entrepreneurship in the technology sector. I also would like to clear the Globalisation requirement by taking the most relevant module for me which is Technopreneurship study.
- Where would you like to visit virtually?
Silicon Valley, Austin, Minneapolis, Sydney, Tokyo, Seoul
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
Health-tech, Artificial Intelligence, Platform-based services. Some start-ups that I am inspired by are Grab, Carousell, and Airbnb. Biotech is a very interesting industry as well since I have an interest in bioengineering and this industry will be more relevant in the future with an ageing population.
- What plan do you have in starting a business?
I am currently at the stage of learning from the various industry experts. However, in the future, I would like to start a company focusing on specialized products in the high-tech medical devices industry and telecom industry. As the business and tech world keeps changing at a very rapid pace, I would like to be one of the pioneers in a new industry that may emerge in the future.
