Why Virtual TSM?
What motivates you to join TSM?. As an individual that seeks to develop innovative ideas and own their implementation, I’ve always wanted to embark on the path of Technopreneurship. In joining TSM, I believe I can acquire more inspiration for the ideation and implementation process for technological solutions and broaden my knowledge on turning technological innovations into reality through the process of entrepreneurship.

US: Silicon Valley, China: Shenzhen, Hangzhou
Starting a business
What types of business interest you? While I am generally open to most types of businesses, I am mostly intrigued in areas of FinTech, smart living consumer technologies and platform businesses (Grab, SEA). I believe that as the world moves on from the pandemic, we will see an even more vibrant technological space in the world with technologies infiltrating many areas of our lives. I hope that I can develop an innovative solution that can improve people’s living standards and conveniences.
What plan do you have in starting a business?
I started a small eCommerce business on several eCommerce platforms for a brief period of time after my National Service. Through the process of owning a sole proprietorship, I have learnt a lot in process and was inspired by how eCommerce has boomed over the pandemic and was particularly impressed by how technology has facilitated eCommerce operations behind the order fulfilment scene.
My current plan is to learn more and continue to develop myself such that I will be well-versed with the different technologies and business models in the world. I seek to broaden my perspective so that I can find a real-life problem that can be solved by viable technological solutions which can be developed within a valid timespan. I also need to expand my circle such that I can find like-minded individuals that are interested in pursuing the innovations I am seeking.
