Why Virtual TSM?

  • What motivates you to join TSM?.

I am someone who gets excited when I am challenged when venturing into entrepreneurship as well as the world of technology. I believe TSM will allow me to get a glimpse of the world's top region for technology. Having an interest in e-commerce and start-ups, I have worked as an intern in several companies, which allowed me to truly understand from the inside, how fast-moving companies operate. If there is a chance, I'd definitely take it to start a business of my own in the future.

  • Where would you like to visit virtually?

Silicon Valley is definitely the first on my list, followed by Tel Aviv in Israel, where it is also one of the most influential cities in the world in terms of Technology.

Starting a business

  • What types of business interest you?

I've always had an interest in e-commerce, and even more so after seeing the impact of e-commerce during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, myself and 2 other friends started an e-commerce business to help onboard vendors that were unable to digitalize and adapt in time when COVID hit. They were mainly the vendors in wet markets (selling fresh produce - poultry and seafood) who do not have the skill-sets to digitize their business.

  • What plan do you have in starting a business?

I have no concrete plans as of now, and would like to learn as much as I can, to build up both my technical as well as soft skills, before I venture out to build a business again. I would like to explore the world of e-commerce and technology in greater depths, and further refine my business acumen in the tech industry.
