Why TSM South Korea?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
To achieve my goal. 난 남쪽으로 가고 싶어 한국! nan namjjog-eulo gago sip-eo hangug! [ I want to go to South Korea! ] It will be my first time to South Korea.
Develop a greater understanding of both my own and South Korea culture.
Broaden my horizon, to gain exposure, learn and understand how businesses operate in South Korea.
Always looking forward to learn beyond the textbooks and to experience beyond classrooms.
As we step into the workforce, we need to play a complex set of roles: leader, liaison person, monitor, facilitator, spokesperson, entrepreneur, resource allocator, negotiator and many other roles. As an entrepreneur, a key essential role is to turn problems and opportunities into plans for improved changes. This might include the creation of new products or services, re-engineering of processes that will seek to meet the needs and demands of customers, ultimately for revenue generation. I looked forward to seek, understand and absorb the knowledge of practices and ways of how the Koreans run their businesses.
- Why pick South Korea?
There are several areas which fascinates me, among which are
South Korea's main economy drivers includes electronics, telecommunications and auto production. Furthermore, South Korea's largest corporations namely Hyundai, Kia, LG and Samsung have made significant breakthroughs in gaining market shares internationally. I would like to gain insights on the essentials and the components in which South Korean companies do differently in order to compete head to head with western brands and to learn from the best.
