The Company

  • Arelion is a start-up based in Pasching, near Linz, Austria.
  • Started out as a research project between Johannes-Kepler-Universität Linz (JKU) and Siemens Corporate Technologies in Munich.
  • Developed software that solves quantitative optimization problems using its proprietary algorithm.
  • Currently supported by Siemens Technology Accelerator.

Technology

  • Proprietary optimization algorithms to generate high speed solutions for complex, quantitative problems.
  • Software has two core components:
    • Arelion Optimization Core is the heart of the optimization system.
    • Solving Units quantify the client's expert knowledge to adapt solutions to specific needs.

Products/Services

Arelion is offering the current services:

  • Optimization Solutions for Supply Chain Management-
    • Initial analysis of optimization problem
    • Capture implicit and explicit customer knowledge
    • Incremental implementation of tailored optimizaiton solution
    • Flexible integration into customer's IT infrastructure

  • Arelion Optimization Suite
    • Currently under development, this software aims to enable customers to intuitively generate a obtain optimization results without the help of third parties.
