The Company
- Arelion is a start-up based in Pasching, near Linz, Austria.
- Started out as a research project between Johannes-Kepler-Universität Linz (JKU) and Siemens Corporate Technologies in Munich.
- Developed software that solves quantitative optimization problems using its proprietary algorithm.
- Currently supported by Siemens Technology Accelerator.
Technology
- Proprietary optimization algorithms to generate high speed solutions for complex, quantitative problems.
- Software has two core components:
- Arelion Optimization Core is the heart of the optimization system.
- Solving Units quantify the client's expert knowledge to adapt solutions to specific needs.
