• I love travelling to different countries, meeting interesting people and of course hanging out with friends. The most enjoyable thing in life is to chill out with a group of good friends.
• I love foooood! Eating is my favorite pastime!

Introduction

• I started working when i was 14 all the way till today
• I was attached Suzhou Industrial Park for 2 months during my FYP year in Nanyang Polytechnic
• I have been to Indonesia for OCSP in December 2013, in December 2014 I led a new OCSP to Cambodia
• Currently doing a 3 months internship in India, under Extentia Information Technology as an Android Developer

Why TSM?

• It has been close to 4 years since I started my pursuit in entrepreneurship and I am always looking for opportunities in and outside of Singapore. I believe that the way to success is to chase after opportunities rather than waiting for it to come and one very important factor is “exposure”. This TSM will be a good exposure for me. On top of that, I have just declared ABT –Technopreneurship Track as my 2nd major and this module is in line with what I will be doing during my years in SMU.

• As you travel, you will will get to know more people and that's how you expose yourself to opportunities. Here, I would like to share my internship experience in India. To be honest, i never thought that i would be visiting India, not to say a 3 months internship and this ended as one of the best decision that i have made in life. As i am constantly searching for people who can help me with my ideas and business plan, it is either too expensive or not able to find the right people. So i thought that since i have this opportunity to go to a country which is very advanced in the area relevant to my business idea, why not i give it a try? So here i am, developing my own application with the partners i found in India, participating in the GeoInnovation Funding Programme and i would be setting up my own software company in Singapore when i get back.

Internship Opportunities

• I am looking for all types of internship opportunities overseas, especially in start ups where i can learn from scratch. The experience would be extremely valuable to me in starting a company myself.

• If I am given a choice, I would like to join a technological firm as it is relevant to what I am studying now so that I can maximize my contributions to the firm.

Starting a business

• I am looking into technological business

• Setting up a Software/IT Consulting Company to develop solutions in mainly mobile and web applications

Past Experience

• Four years ago, I started an online modelling business. The concept is to bring together all the freelance models and merchants to this one-stop, off-the-shelf advertising/marketing package. However, I have decided to close down this business after the first few deals because the talent pool for modelling is relatively small in Singapore and we could not meet the demands of the merchants.

• Two year, when I entered SMU, I continued to source for entrepreneurship opportunities. I participated in the Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Competition, attended a few talks organized by IIE and have tried to apply for grants for my business plan through IIE.

• Last Participated in SMU Innovation Awards

• Currently participating in GeoInnovation Funding Programme
