Why Virtual TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
Being in a family of entrepreneurs, I have always been interested in the idea of starting my own business. By going on this trip, I believe I would be able to better understand the challenges and thoughts that come with starting a tech company. This could be immensely useful for me when it comes to considering my future aspirations.
- Where would you like to visit?
Silicon Valley:
Netflix - I am a big admirer of Netflix's highly reputed Chaos Engineering practices. I would love to be given the chance to learn and witness how the Software Engineers at Netflix carry it out.
Apple - Being the world's largest company by market capitalisation, Apple is home to many incredible products. I would appreciate the opportunity to understand how they continue to innovate. Hopefully, they would be willing to share details about the potential Apple car!
San Francisco:
I am excited to possibly be able to watch the Golden State Warriors play in the NBA, hopefully in the playoffs (since May is Playoffs season)! Stephen Curry is one of my favourite players, and being able to watch him in person would be an unbelievable dream.
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
I'm exhilarated by businesses at the forefront of disruptive innovation, particularly those that challenge the status quo and redefine industries. The concept of innovation, in itself, is a constant source of fascination for me. What excites me most is the opportunity to experiment with groundbreaking technologies and ideas that have the potential to reshape how we live, work, and interact. I'm drawn to businesses that are unafraid to tackle complex problems and pioneer solutions that were once considered impossible. This innovation-centric mindset has been the driving force behind some of my endeavours in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
- What plans do you have in starting a business?
My foolproof retirement plan was to incorporate a tech company, develop a software, and finally sell this company for hundreds of millions. As I started to learn more about programming, I am now just a humble student who wishes to do well in school. I would however love the opportunity to be a founding member of a tech startup hopefully in the near future, so I can hopefully become a billionaire.
