Why Virtual TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
Since Japan is a powerhouse in robotics and adoption of AI, I am excited to go to Tokyo to see the robots in Miraikan, and I hope to witness the delivery robots in action. I look forward to seeing how Japan integrates technology into the citizens' daily lives, and can't wait to experience this with my friends!
- Where would you like to visit?
Tokyo: Cat Island, Ghibli Museum, Miraikan, Nintendo, Sanrio Puroland, Sonire Therapeutics, Sony
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
As someone who is interested in the arts and healthcare, I am interested in businesses that leverage on technology to create new forms of art and media like VR, and in startups that use technology to improve people's lives. I'd love to witness and learn more about how technology intersects with the different disciplines. Having played video games since I was 4, I also wish to learn more about the gaming industry in Japan (since it is not exactly considered a lucrative one in SG) and immerse myself in their culture.
- What plans do you have in starting a business?
There are no concrete plans for now, but I'd love to go on TSM with my friends and look into the startup scene in Japan together, to hopefully garner inspiration for our ideation.
