Why Virtual TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
My main goal is to actually broaden my horizon and get inspired when exploring the startup ecosystem in Tokyo. I'm excited to see what the Startup Ecosystem Tokyo Consortium does to facilitate the growth of startups aiding the development of young entrepreneurs. I hope to gain some insights on the process, challenges and risks on starting up a new business. This opportunity also allows me to interact and potentially build relations with the companies visited which will definitely expand my worldview.
I think this would be a truly enriching experience of a lifetime.
- Where would you like to visit?
Some of the places would be the Google Campus in Tokyo, I believe the interactions and people I meet there would be extremely beneficial to my learning. At the same time, I would like to visit places with cultural significance or places that offers me a chance to interact more with the local scene.
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
My interest lies in providing a service that would help current businesses conduct their business in a more secure / efficient manner. For example, using software solutions to manage customer relations in a more cost-effective way whilst incurring a lesser cost such by using AI to help customers with site navigation / transaction process.
- What plans do you have in starting a business?
I would want to start a tech consultation business that offers solutions based on the client's needs. I would think to use a business to business model and a team of developers and people equipped with excellent people skills to identify the issue. I was inspired by my very first internship where the basis of the company was a technological solutions providing company.
