Why TSM?

  • What motivates you to join TSM?

"You can't have a million dollar dream with a minimum wage worth ethic" I believe this TSM has the potential to help kickstart my journey to being the next Mark Zuckerberg! In all seriousness, I'm a firm believer of the agile, independent and collaborative approach in startups, and this TSM is a great starting point to be exposed to the startup culture. Additionally, I have always been intrigued by Japan's strong culture in the entertainment scene, and a trip to Japan can help broaden my horizon while enriching the time spent with my university friends!

  • Where would you like to visit?

Ghibli, Akihabara, Ghibli, Disneyland, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Square Enix, Rakuten, and lastly, any onsens!

Starting a business

  • What types of business interest you?

As an avid gamer since young, I have always been a huge fan of how games can portray unique narratives and its strong world-building capabilities. I believe the current VR scene has untapped potential to venture into and create a more immersive world! Additionally, as a health conscious individual, I have huge interest in the sporting and fitness scene. I believe fitness can be gamified to incentivise and promote healthy living, something that is uncommon in the current sporting industry.

  • What plans do you have in starting a business?

Currently, I am enjoying my time spent in SMU with my SCIS friends to the fullest, hence there are no concrete ideas. However I believe this TSM can provide the fundamentals and mindset of entrepreneurship to kickstart my interest and capabilities in the startup culture! (Hopefully with my friends too!)
