Why Virtual TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
As an individual that loves to develop applications and has keen interest in entrepreneurship, I hope to embark on the path of Technopreneurship to find out how to effectively find creative solutions to address social issues using technology. By joining TSM, I believe that I can broaden my knowledge about impactful technological innovations and their benefits on the society. Through this learning process, I aspire to apply what I have learnt when starting a business in the e-commerce space in the future.
- Where would you like to visit?
- SushiSwap - Peer to peer decentralised exchange that allows users to swap tokens, provide liquidity and participate in the platform's governance to make decisions related to the protocol's development
- Cinnamon AI - AI Document Reader that removes and automate time consuming repetitive administrative work through data extraction from unstructured documents.
- Ubie - AI-based symptom checker that lists down possible causes, severity and care options for patients
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
I am interested to know more about companies at the forefront of sustainability and e-commerce.
- What plans do you have in starting a business?
I have previously started a drop shipping business on Carousell and Shopee selling fitness equipment like pull-up bars and dumbbell weights to provide affordable fitness equipment for fitness enthusiasts in the past. I plan to continue venturing in the e-commerce space and build a platform that advocates for sustainable practices in the supply chain to optimise waste management and eliminate packaging waste in order to reduce the negative environmental impact that current e-commerce businesses create. I hope to learn about how to build scalable business that has a sustainable and viable business strategy when embarking on this study mission.
