Why Virtual TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
I have always believe that technology has the power to make a positive impact in our world today, and I wish to be part of that journey in making our society a better place. As Silicon Valley houses many leading technology companies that have large scale impact on millions, if not billions of people, I am interested in exploring and learning how these businesses operate, and what keeps their engineers going.
There is still so much for me to learn, and I figured that being exposed to the pioneers of the technology industry themselves would be an excellent learning opportunity for me. Through this experience, I wish to gain more insights to broaden my perspective and kickstart my career journey in the technology industry.
- Where would you like to visit?
Other than the Big 4 Tech Giants, I am open to visit other companies so as to gain a wide variety of exposure in this technology sector.
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
Through my past internship experience, I have developed an interest in the EdTech field, mainly because my values are aligned with the vision of these companies, which is making education more accessible to the masses. This especially came at a crucial time when lockdown happened, and online learning played a vital role in ensuring that students' learning is not disrupted.
- What plans do you have in starting a business?
As of now, I do not have plans in starting a business, perhaps due to my lack of exposure in entrepreneurship in general. However, I am open to the idea, and hope that this study mission can expand my horizons in this aspect.
