Why Virtual TSM?

  • What motivates you to join TSM?

Strangely enough, I was motivated by the K-Drama, “Start-Up”. It changed my perspective on start ups as a place that shares a mutual appreciation for productivity and dedication, which, in hindsight, is a truly motivating place to be. As an engine for startup ecosystems and home to global tech stalwarts, Silicon Valley is the living embodiment of that. Silicon Valley’s more adventurous and trailblazing attitudes are inspirational to me, and it would be humbling to be able to meet the people behind these products.

  • Where would you like to visit?

Silicon Valley: Intel Museum, Tech Museum of Innovation

Starting a business

  • What types of business interest you?

Inspired by the Y Combinator-backed nonprofit, 80,000 Hours, I believe that a business that allows their employees the autonomy to contribute where they can provide the most impact or pursue their interest through the company’s product, vision or mission is a fulfilling and progressive place to be.

  • What plan do you have in starting a business?

A friend of mine and I previously explored the idea of starting our own business in drop shipping as a form of side income while studying in university. However, we did not proceed with this idea as we lacked experience and have kept it in archive until we have more experience, knowledge and exposure—all of which I hope to gain through TSM in hopes that I will be able to open a similar chapter once again.
