Why Virtual TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
I wanted to learn more about the startup culture, specifically, how technology and business comes together to build a product that people want. I hope to understand how startups in Korea are supported and encouraged in their culture. Additionally, I want to gain more knowledge about the startup industry in an Asian context, which will give me inspiration and motivation to enter startup industry.

Google Campus, Riid, Green Labs, places/environment that encourages the startups to thrive
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
Having learnt about artificial intelligence in the past few years, the AI industry has really captured my interest on benefits that it can build to a business that knows how to capture it. Coming from a service industry background, I have seen the prevalent use of AI in the tourism industry. Given that current AI is moving to more sophisticated uses, I am interested to learn and see where this will lead to as more and more companies adopts this technology.
- What plans do you have in starting a business?
Currently, I do plan on working for others in my early career to gain knowledge, with one of my plans is to build a platform for the facilities management industries, given that the sector is lacking behind on the technology trend. This includes
- Using technology to facilitate inspections and maintenance work
- Creating a platform that can easily manage physical assets and other relevant building management work
Other than the above industry, I’m interesting in building AI-powered applications
