Why Virtual TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
I want to gain exposure and credibility in the tech industry and hopefully be able to innovate and create a new and useful application that can benefit enterprises or the public in general. It has always been my dream to start my own business and I have embarked on one in the past. Through TSM, I will be able to gain experience, create valuable connections and experience the tech industry outside of my own country. Furthermore, I understand the difficulties of innovating and creating a tech start-up. It would be nice to understand what are the key drivers and habits that creates success from start-up founders.

Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
Business that involves e-commerce, social networking or innovations that are fun, interesting and benefits the public. I admire tech companies like Uber, Grab, Foodpanda, Tinder and Tesla. Also, I am interested in diving deeper into newer technologies like VR, AR, Web 3.0, Defi etc. These ideas and innovations have been beneficial in terms of convenience, security, efficiency, and sustainability. It gives me a clearer picture of what our future will be like and gives me hope that it is a future that I will look forward to.
- What plans do you have in starting a business?
First, I would like to gain exposure by working in a known or credible tech company. Understanding the processes and further upskilling will give me an edge when I intend to start my own business. I also plan to start small, by starting out with smaller applications, and work my way towards an idea that is successful. There will definitely be failures along the way, but the key is to take the first step, start somewhere and embrace the failures.
