Why Virtual TSM?

  • What motivates you to join TSM?

South Korea has seen many successful startups over the decade and there has been a shift in culture where the younger generation of Koreans are more inclined to venture into entrepreneurship. It would be interesting to explore the startup scene in Korea to better understand what makes it an entrepreneurship hub and how we can adopt a similar culture in Singapore.

  • Where would you like to visit?

Seoul: Kakao, Samsung, KBS, Google, Naver, LG

Starting a business

  • What types of business interest you?

Businesses that tap on technology to empower the disabled, elderly and poor and find out how these technologies can be extended to the wider audience to make it profitable. One example is voice assisted technology that can be tailored towards the disabled and one for the general public.

  • What plans do you have in starting a business?

I have dreams of starting a business one day, but not anytime soon. Currently I am working towards gaining as much knowledge and resources as I can before starting my own business venture one day. If I do start a business, it would be in assistive technology.
