Why Virtual TSM?

  • What motivates you to join TSM?

Technology and entrepreneurship have long piqued my interest. Technopreneurship is one area in which a technologist enthusiast like myself can pursue the idea of starting a business while still pursuing my passion for technology and coding. That is why I am very interested in joining TSM because it will allow me to deepen my knowledge of business while also allowing me to leverage my technological skillset. Furthermore, I believe that TSM will provide me with a better understanding of entrepreneurship in general, which will help me on my entrepreneurial journey.

  • Where would you like to visit?

Starting a business

  • What types of business interest you?

As a tech enthusiast, I am fascinated by how innovation can improve our quality of life. Start-ups have demonstrated that they are the ones who will not always take the easiest path, but are willing to take the risk. When NFTs were first introduced, everyone laughed at the idea of a virtual LV bag, but once the potential was realized, no one questioned it and jumped on the hype train. That's the thing about the tech-entrepreneurship scene: it's an amazing place to let your creativity run wild. Even if you fail once or twice, there is a community in the tech world where everyone learns from one another and there are endless opportunities for those who seek them out.

  • What plans do you have in starting a business?

We undertook a business statement from 191 Labs, a consulting firm, with a group of friends to investigate the idea of finding a correlation between the prices of Defi coins and social media conversations. While we were developing a product for the company, it piqued my interest in how the social media scene could benefit from technology. TikTok has created micro-influencers over the years, who have the potential to compete with macro-influencers, particularly for small businesses that cannot afford to pay high prices. Technology can be used to build a platform that serves as a link between these social media influencers and small businesses, an untapped market that can be further enhanced by technology such as data scraping and AI matching algorithms.
