Why Virtual TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?.
As an aspiring social entrepreneur who is still on the path of discovery, this Virtual TSM would serve as a great way for me to gain insights into how I can leverage IT to manage social disparities. Like most people have said, the idea of entrepreneurship originated from the idea of "taking control of your own destiny", and that is exactly what I wish to do.
Growing up, I have always been an inquisitive and hands-on individual that enjoys exploring and challenging myself to learn new things, as such, I am hoping that this opportunity to learn from the best of the IT industry can help inspire me to make the right investments for my future business.
- Where would you like to visit virtually?
Two main places that I have in mind are Silicon Valley in the USA and Seoul in South Korea, the reason for the former location is because that is where all the GREATS of the IT industry reside in. As for the latter location, it is because of the company Kakao which is becoming another powerhouse of the IT industry with expansive usages similar to that of WeChat.
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
Startups, in particular, interest me more because that is the phase of every company which decides if they make it or break it. Furthermore, being an aspiring entrepreneur myself, I would like to gain insights into what it is actually like to be/work in an environment where the hierarchy is usually flat and experiences are the most valuable
- What plan do you have in starting a business?
I intend to start a web application development business in the near future with the hopes that I will be able to expand and take in those who are less privileged once the business is stable enough. My end goal is to have a company culture where everyone is given an opportunity to pick up web development and experiences are accumulated and passed down recursively regardless of one's background.

What keeps you ticking?
- Being able to learn from my peers, mentors and experts, to keep myself up to date with the latest technologies and workarounds to existing/upcoming challenges.
- Seeing things finally work out after putting in the hard work and time..
