What motivates you to join TSM?
- I am very excited about the opportunity that is given by TSM to learn from and understand start-ups in other countries!
- I also really enjoy working in projects with other students to find a solution that we all can agree on :D
- Going through my IS Core Modules in Y1 & Y2, I really enjoyed mods like IDP with its focus on the users, testing and creation of prototypes, and ESM with its testing and ensuring that our service is accessible to users as much as possible. I think all this comes hand in hand with technopreneurship, and I think using my knowledge and past experience to solve problems really satisfies the inner child in me.
- I am really curious about what goes behind a startup, as it all sounds very grand and fascinating but I want to know what hard work has been put into the business and how the owners adapt to the everchanging tech industry to gain a competitive edge.
I am interested to go to any city as I've never been to Australia!

What types of business interest you?
I am always amazed by the ideas from everyone, as it has their own outlook involved, and it allows me to see the world in a different light! But what I think what interests me the most are innovations like Fintech or smart gadgets that are able to always bring something new to the game and take the world by storm with their innovations! The creations will always manage to impact their users so much and change their lives for the better and I'm always so fascinated by that.
What plan do you have in starting a business?
In my free time I partake in a buy-and-sell business through Instagram and Carousell, where I purchase items at a cheaper bulk price and resell it on the platforms. I also occasionally post and sell my baked goods on these platforms after I gain confidence that they taste good HAHAH

What keeps you ticking? 🤩
My personal motto is to keep improving myself and picking up new skills. There is never such thing as "I've learnt all there is" in this everchanging world, and especially in the tech industry where there is always something new. Experiences are invaluable and I strive to equip myself with as many as possible. I would rather go all out to try out something new than to miss out on that chance and regret my actions, and hence I applied for TSM in hopes that I will get to gain and learn new experiences. This will also allow me to take a good look at the world outside of school and to learn how to prep myself better as I am currently entering Year 3 and will soon graduate. I think that this opportunity will allow me to challenge myself and grow even more, which will benefit me.
