Why TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
I feel like a study mission will allow me to step out of my comfort zone to experience a different way of learning, and the content that is covered in the study mission is very different from normal modules, which makes me very interested to be a part of it. Along with that, by doing this study mission, I will also gain some exposure in understanding countries and locations that i have not seen before! Besides that, I also like to know more people and understand how different people think! I feel that being part of this will add value to my journey in SMU!
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
I love design and I like integrating technology in design, a business that can make use of advancing technologies to enhance designing processes and sales of designs highly interests me.
- What plan do you have in starting a business?
To gain exposure in related fields to understand what the needs of users are, research on the technologies available and how to best utilize them to meet the user's needs. I would love to have a business that builds a one stop design tool to aid designers/artists in their design process or to develop design tools for companies to utilize to meet their design needs. Also, to integrate the idea of NFTs to the platform so that artists can easily sell their artworks using a tech way. To gain an insight in commercial designing processes and workflows, I am currently interning in Shopee as a Developer Intern, working very closely alongside the design team.

What keeps you ticking?
- People - I love interaction with people and especially those close to my heart! They are my motivation to push on in life.
- Visuals - I am always in awe for good and interesting visuals, always wondering what is the thought process behind the artwork
- Time - is limited so we gotta do what we want to do
