Why TSM?
- Some of the most influential companies today are 21st century startups. This is a stark contrast with how it was previously. Specifically, I am inspired by the fact that these companies are able to create positive change despite having to start with limited resources. It would be an honour to interact with an appreciate the bravery of startup founders who are challenging the status quo despite slim odds
Starting a business
- I am deeply interested in businesses that utilise modern technology to create new product/service categories that change the way we do things
- As someone whose interest is easily piqued by anything and everything, I am still undecided on the kind of products or services I would like to start a business with. However, I am certain that whatever it may be, it will be something that benefits the underpriviledged in our society
Past Experiences (optional)
- I have yet to start my own company. However, in the past I have had some success studying prices of electronics and watches that have helped me earn small profits through flipping.
What keeps you ticking?
- "Why didn't I think of that" moments
- It is amazing how people around the world are constantly finding innovative ways to solve/improve/innovate processes that we take for granted
- I would compare it to being stuck in a tough maths question, and then seeing your teacher write out the solution line by line. The feeling of exhilaration gets me to always be on the lookout of how I can make a difference in areas around my life.
