Why Travel Bubble TSM? πŸš€

TSM nudges students to launch their own ventures by allowing them to understand how a company grows ground up from the entrepreneurs themselves. I am keen on being a part of this pool of students who will embark on this enriching learning journey and be inspired by the stories behind successful start-ups. Moreover, with the chances of TSM being highly likely remote, I can interact with entrepreneurs from companies in a foreign setting while remaining in the comfort of home.

I intend to learn the best practices of successful companies and acquire relevant skills and knowledge. In addition, I am curious to discover how their products/services differ for users within those geographical boundaries situated away from Singapore. Besides learning about technopreneurship, I wish to strengthen my understanding and sensitivity towards the common business ethics and practices present in the study mission country.

I am open to travelling to any location and am excited about the potential trip to Australia!

Starting a business πŸ‘©πŸΌβ€πŸ’Ό

What types of business interest you?

  • Technological Innovation β€” Building cool products that enhance daily activities (e.g. Smart city/home gadgets)
  • Platform businesses β€” Bridging the gap between talents and consumers in underserved markets.

Entrepreneurship Experience
I started a small business selling handmade clay earrings through Instagram and TelegramBot (kudos to Zeph!). In this 1 year journey, I have collaborated with other small businesses specialising in handmade jewellery, flower bouquets and stickers. Notably, I was involved in SOB's Slight Scarlet 2020 campaign as a merchandising partner.

What keeps you ticking? πŸ”₯

The fact that there is so much I have yet to learn! I try my best to stay updated on the latest tech news so that my projects can focus on relevant areas that solve real-world problems. Also, I love the journey of planning and creating 0-1 products. From formulating the problem statement to rapid prototyping and brainstorming to develop the actual product, this process is a delightful and worthwhile endeavour.
