Why Travel Bubble TSM?

What motivates you to join TSM?

TSM will bring about like minded entrepreneurs and prospecting entrepreneurs together to spur on great ideas. This is my primary reason for wanting to participate in TSM-> To meet and learn from like minded folks. Successful entrepreneurs are world changers and it will be an honour to sit in a class surrounded by people who believes that they can change the world.

This Asian Study mission also gives me an opportunity to go beyond the shores of Singapore to be exposed to the rising developments and cultural trends in neighbouring countries. To be able to understand how successful business are conducted in other asian countries will also allow me to leverage on cultural differences to gain a foothold in venture expansion. Companies like Berjaya Corp, King Power Int and even not so young start ups like Grab are worth appreciating. ->Appreciating how they navigate the region!

In conclusion I'm attracted to TSM as I am able to bask in the company of like minded individuals and gain regional entrepreneurship exposure!

Starting a business

What types of business interest you?

Technology will itself be an enabler of businesses. With that in mind, I am interested in businesses that looks to provide an entire suite of solutions for traditional business to digitally transform. This present vast opportunities in commerce, service, F&B, transportation, etc. Businesses should be eager to exploit technology to expand market reach while reducing manual workload altogether. This is the gap I want to fill and play my part in.

What plan do you have in starting a business?

A good buddy of mine and I are developing a business idea to provide one stop cleaning solution for landed houses in Singapore. Think of houses in Astrid Hill or Namly Estate. Since we are pretty much going to be a start up if this idea materialise, we need to keep out work processes and inventory lean. At the same time to find ways to automate processes. My focus for the success for this business will be the need to provide exceptional customer experience to our high net worth clientele. I'm a staunch believer that a good product sells itself but how you make a customer feel will determine if there will be another purchase. Hence managing customer relationship is highly critical in this business. Thankfully there are a multitude of IS solutions that can provide solid back end support towards exemplary customer management.

The big goal you may ask? Well, with the knowledge and expertise with luxurious properties, we hope to raise enough funds to go into property investing. Who knows? Anyone with a Palace to clean?

I hope I did not divulge too much.. oops!
