Why Virtual TSM?

What motivates you to join TSM?
With technology becoming more and more integrated into our lives, businesses are constantly upgrading to keep up with the advancement of technology. Even as a non-IS student, I believe that technopreneurship is something that is worth learning and will greatly value add to my knowledge. Also, the format of this course is creative and engaging, making me intrigued and want to learn more about it.

Where would you like to visit virtually?
I would love to visit Turkey as it is a country with a rich and diverse culture. Being a transcontinental country, Turkish culture is made up of both western and oriental elements, making it one of the most fascinating and vibrant places in the world.

Starting a business

What types of business interest you?
I am interested in social enterprises as I strongly believe in creating value in people's lives and is also concerned about environmental issues. I think that social enterprises have a good balance between doing good for the society and making economic profit.

What plan do you have in starting a business? (list existing business)
With the world being more modernized, people that hold jobs related to traditional cultures seem to decrease over the years. As such, I think that if I can start an online learning platform to provide cultural workshops to the masses, it would be a great way to revive traditions and promote cultural understanding with the use of technology. The cultural workshops can range from traditional dance, crafts, music and even cooking lessons. By integrating concepts from sites like Withlocals.com and Carousell, this can potentially be the new buzz in virtual tourism and modernized culture appreciation.
