Why Virtual TSM?

  • What motivates you to join TSM?

I am excited by the challenges I will get to tackle when exploring entrepreneurship and technology. With a keen interest in technology and how it comes into play in entrepreneurship makes me curious about how these two can come together. As an intern in a tech startup, I got to witness how the team hustle and expand continuously in this competitive landscape. Motivated by their drive, I seek to further explore this and learn more about it takes to be a technopreneur. I also hope to meet like minded individuals and bounce off ideas with them. I believe this will be a great opportunity to learn and grow together with my peers.

  • Where would you like to visit virtually?

China, Indonesia, Silicon Valley. Where all the great minds and startups are!

Starting a business

  • What types of business interest you?

Ecommerce, Fintech (Payments)

  • What plan do you have in starting a business?

I previously explored price comparison website for various supermarkets with my friends. It was an idea generated out of problems faced by our mothers. We tried to build it from scratch and had planned to roll it out, yet we were not fully capable of doing so at that time.

Currently I do not have any concrete plans, but I have learnt that starting from a simple problem can actually lead to many amazing ideas. After which, you prototype, develop, test and continuously improve. There is no hard and fast rule on what should constitute a business so if anything strikes me and I see an opportunity in it I will definitely go for it.
