Why Virtual TSM?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
- I would like to get a better understanding of what is needed to be able to start my own venture and gain more insights into entrepreneurship
- I would like to develop my interest in technology and also understand more about technology and how to make use of it to start my own business.
- I would like to meet like-minded people, grow my network, and be able to make more friends and also learn from them.
- I would like to learn more about different businesses and cultures abroad, learn how different businesses thrive in their own environment, and gain more experience in a different culture.
- Where would you like to visit virtually?
USA (New York/Silicon Valley), Canada, Korea, Japan, China, India
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
Technology-based business that changes the way people usually do things and disrupt the industry. I am also interested in businesses that are able to leverage data such as via Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning or Blockchain and make use of it to improve efficiency and improve processes. Some examples of this would be digital manufacturing transformation where AI or ML is used for the manufacturing industry to pinpoint critical areas and allows for better communication between machines.
- What plan do you have for starting a business?
Previously, I had the opportunity to join an early-stage startup where I helped in ideating, developing, and testing different solutions, this allowed me to gain more experience in how an early-stage venture works and what is going on behind the scenes. I also had the chance to talk to the founders and learned more about what they did to get their business up and running.
Currently do not have any plans in starting a business, but I would hope to start my own business after getting more experience in entrepreneurship. I am constantly thinking of and looking out for new and interesting ideas that could inspire me to start my own venture. I am also participating in various networking events and info sessions to learn more about different businesses.
