Why TSM New York City? Virtual
* What motivates you to join TSM?
Having interned at a Legal Tech startup in the past summer and being currently involved in another legal tech startup. I would like to experience and how the startup culture is like overseas! I believe that TSM will give me ideas to bring over to the startup I am working for. It would be a great opportunity to learn from other startups.
- Why pick New York City?
Besides San Francisco, New York City is the next major US city for tech startup culture. I believe there is a lot to learn in the Big Apple from culture to good practices of startup. Moreover NYC is also one of the largest financial hubs in the US, would love to see how the dynamics of a financial hub works with all the up and coming tech startups flowing into the city.
Enjoyed the process of TSM New York, even though my work started before the trip and ended way after the module got cancelled by COVID 😢.
I would like to visit China virtually as they have buzzing tech ecosystem
Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
Anything cool. But currently really interested in the legal tech space.
- What plan do you have in starting a business?
Currently working on another legal tech startup to help improve the dinosaurs we call law firms and make them more efficient, saving not only the clients time but also the lawyers. Currently close to launching a MVP and would really like to learn more about the legal tech space in NYC as it is more established there compared to here in Singapore.
