What motivates you to join TSM?
I think that it will be a really interesting experience being able to see what the start-up culture is like in another country and to be able to make comparisons and learn from any differences in how start-ups overseas operate. Furthermore, as this is my Final Year in SMU, I figured that such opportunities to visit and gain insight of other companies might be harder to come by from now and would therefore, like to make full use of this TSM for this purpose!

Why pick New York City?
It is a bustling hub that is at the confluence of Finance and Technology. It is also a melting pot of culture and I feel that people are more willing and open to throwing up ideas and voicing their opinion, which I think will be a great learning experience for how start-ups can be run by observing the juxtaposition with other start-ups I have seen.

What types of business interest you?
Being able to start-up a sustainable social enterprise is my dream!
What plan do you have in starting a business?
While I do not yet have concrete plans for starting a business yet, I do have dreams of starting a non-profit social enterprise whose goal is to increase the social mobility of less advantaged through leveraging technology. Therefore, I hope to be able to join the Technopreneurship Study Mission to gain more insight about how various start-ups are leveraging technology to achieve their desired goals in order to have a more concrete idea of how I can achieve mine.

Any adrenaline filled activity involving nature and also photography!
