Why TSM Hong Kong
What motivates you to join the TSM?
I've never been for company visits, and heard about how it broadened my friend's perspective from their visit to the previous travel study mission at Silicon Valley. I feel that it'll be an eye-opener for me, and I should seize my opportunity to do so right before graduating. Also, I have always thought and planned about being an entrepreneur, I am sure that this trip would facilitate that.
Why Hong Kong?
Hong Kong shares many similarities to Singapore. Both with advanced economy development and similar population density, I am sure the insights I'll gain and learn from Hong Kong can be applied in Singapore. Also, I love Hong Kong food.

What plans do you have in starting a business?
As a student, I am still exploring the market to search for service gaps or an industry where supply does not hit demand. I am open to new ideas and like to put myself in a learning environment where such discussions are common and the ideas for fresh.
An idea that I had recently was to create an application for clothes rental. However, on further research, there is an existing company who is rapidly expanding in Singapore. Therefore I am thinking of newer ideas at the moment.
