TSM HONG KONG

  • What motivates you to join TSM?

I would love to have this opportunity of networking and meeting with like-minded individuals. I would also like to learn from my peers, and the different motivations that they have related to school and starting a business. I feel that I have many skills and past experiences to share with my peers, and I hope to be able to given the platform to do so.

  • Why pick Hong Kong?

I love Hong Kong and all it has to offer. From the scenery to the attractions, I feel like I would really learn a lot, as well as have a good time. I believe in immersive learning, and I think that having the chance to speak with the different startups, and hopefully with the Hong Kong nationals allows me to be a more culturally diversified learner. I feel that we, as Singaporeans, have much to observe and learn from Hong Kong, as it is so similar yet so different. I hope to be able to highlight these differences and bring those back to Singapore.

Starting a business?

  • What types of business interest you?

Healthcare, Analytics, Businesses that utilise IoT.

  • What plan do you have in starting a business?

I feel that in starting a business you would need to have an immense amount of drive, passion, capital, and technical knowledge. While I'm still exploring on the possible outcomes that I will take in life, I am a very open-minded individual to explore the possibility of starting my own business. I'm also grateful of the opportunities SMU has provided to allow me to learn more as well.
