Why TSM Silicon Valley?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
This will literally be my first step into Silicon Valley and hopefully, won't be my last. Silicon Valley is where I want to go in the future. The curriculum and experience I can learn from this study mission will propel me nearer to my dream of opening a tech start up.
- Why pick Silicon Valley?
I've been speaking to local tech start ups to learn the challenges and experiences they have gotten out of their journey of growing their start up. But I wish to take this a step further and learn from the big players themselves. These lessons cannot be taught through lectures, tutorial or stackoverflow. Hence, this is a once in a life time opportunity to ask and learn from people who have succeeded or are on their way to success.

Social Media Managers & Journalist or Liaising with companies
I have prior experience in managing a rock climbing gym's social media & website. It is important to keep information concise yet informative. On the other hand, I would love to be the point of contact between companies and the study mission and to select the companies we will be visiting for a better learning experience for everyone.

- What plan do you have in starting a business?
My idea is to create a platform that protects the information of smartphone users against malicious randsomware attacks (since a large scale attack can happen to computers, why not phones?) . However, as times change, technology and the demand by users will change. Hence, my plans and idea for starting a business may change too!
Past Experiences
- I am currently managing the social media & website for a recently opened rock climbing gym.
- I am currently Sponsorship Director for Gravical, Singapore's most anticipated rock climbing competition.
- I've managed operations for medium scale (about 200-500 people) nightlife events
