  • Co-founded 3 businesses ranging from brick and mortar to online businesses within a short span of 3 years
  • Currently, I'm the COO of TechSocietyGroup, a startup incubated by SMU IIE

Programs related to entrepreneurship

  • The Entrepreneurship Immersion Programme (EIP) by SMU Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IIE) has been designed to provide aspiring student entrepreneurs the opportunity to study a course on entrepreneurship while undergoing an internship in a start-up providing practical and experiential learning on how to become an entrepreneur.
  • Asian Youth Entrepreneurship Programme (AYEP) brings together 8-10 students each from SMU for a cross cultural learning & experiential programme in entrepreneurship. Teams comprising of students from different Universities work together to develop and build on ideas that they could launch in the different markets. During this week long programme, they are exposed to sessions on opportunity identification, business plan writing etc., they also met up with entrepreneurs and mentors.

Startups

  • Bioscape Digital (Atlanta, Georgia), Business IT analyst: Bioscape Digital provides a tablet based platform that allows hospitals to improve patient engagement, gather feedback, and increase revenue at the point of care.Bioscape’s platform integrates text, audio and 3D visual imagery into an intuitive touch screen solution, allowing providers to overcome language and education barriers: critical for the better outcomes required in a patient-centric healthcare delivery model.
  • TechSociety (Singapore), Chief Operating Officer: At TechSociety, we impart next-generation tech survival, new-age computing, and tech entrepreneurial skills to students 10-18 - with the simple goal of making technology and entrepreneurship fun, engaging, and accessible! We do this by dismantling the traditional classroom and by incorporating theater, entrepreneurship thought, games, and teamwork in our pedagogy. Our Tech Entrepreneurship curriculum comprises fundamental programming skills, survey of entrepreneurship, and social media cyber wellness - leveraging a cross-disciplinary framework to inspire the next generation of startup warriors and technologists!
