  ABOUT ME

I started showing interest in Information Technology and developing games during secondary school. I would build mini games using the Warcraft 3 Map Editor and that was my first exposure to Java in its simplest form. It was then I decided to learn more about developing games and chose to pursue a Diploma in Information Technology at Nanyang Polytechnic. I find joy in the accomplishment of a project and particularly liked to debug and teach others about what I know in programming as I hone my skills in the process. After graduation, I knew that I wanted to start a business and felt that knowledge in programming was not enough. Hence, I decided to pursue a degree in SMU after knowing that the school had a technopreneurship track for IS students to learn more about starting up tech businesses.

  WHY TSM KOREA?

World of Magic by Com2US

Aspiring to start my own mobile game application business one day, being able to penetrate into the huge gaming market in Korea is considered a great benchmark for any game development company. With big game development companies such as Nexon and Com2US, I hope to learn more about their go to market strategies and the technologies they have used squeeze in high-quality games into small mobile phones.I would also like to interact with budding startups to know about what are their experiences on how they manage to survive in the Korean market.

Apart from that, I feel that South Korea stands at the forefront of technology with new innovations coming from the tech giants such as Samsung. I hope to keep abreast with the technologies and knowledge there especially those that pertain to mobile application development. As I am approaching the last few years in university, I hope that I am able to seize this opportunity to learn from entrepreneurs outside of Singapore before I graduate.
