Why TSM South Korea?

  • What motivates you to join TSM?

I have always been interested in entrepreneurship since young. However, I didn't come across any opportunity to explore this area of business. Through TSM, i hope to learn more about the story behind successful entrepreneurship. Its fascinating how having a small dream of owning your own business can grow into successful ventures, as achieved by many in Korea. TSM would definitely serve as a window to the world of entrepreneurship.

  • Why pick South Korea?

When one ponders over the spirit of entrepreneurship, America immediately jumps to mind. However, in recent years, Korea stands out to be improving and growing well in this area. In Korea, I understand that korean products and services are indeed soaring and outdoing their America counterparts that also have their businesses set up in Korea. Samsung is one of the many well known business that has also achieved great achievement in international market. I am inspired and thus curious about how these entrepreneurs were able to live up to the challenge and be successful in something they are passionate about.

Korea is also known for their extensive technology infrastructure. This makes Korea one of the rising stars in the tech scene and would definitely be the one to watch.

Also, being a kpop fan, I am in touch with the Korean culture and is interested to know more about it as well.

Starting a business

  • What types of business interest you?

  • What plan do you have in starting a business?

I plan to work first before engaging in startups as I feel that it is important to get out there and gather experience of what is happening in the market first. I would probably be seeking to work in tech related companies as I'm really interested in technological ventures.
