Why TSM South Korea?
- What motivates you to join TSM?
I have organised a business and cultural trip to Vietnam and Cambodia last year, I found the experience really enriching and meaningful. It is not just about to understand the business cultural but also to understand the lifestyle and people from different countries. In addition, I was able to talk to lots of different people with different backgrounds and that was very exciting and opening. Therefore, I would love to have the opportunity to join trips like TSM.
* Why pick South Korea?
I love Korean music - not only Kpop but music in general. Korean ballad is always soothing for me and a great way to help me to distress and sleep. I am a huge fan of Korean drama and movie. After so many years watching and listening, I would love to step my foot on that country. In a more serious note, Korean is a creative and innovative countries in many sector both hard and soft industries. I am personally awed by their agriculture and food industry. Good quality, nice packaging, perfect marketing and wide variety are what make their agriculture and F&B sectors so successful in my belief. I would love to understand more about these sectors and the kind of operation Korean companies are using in general.

I am open to all kinds! My preferred ones would be agriculture related, coffee -related, F&B and trading.

Starting a business
- What types of business interest you?
Before, I have always wanted to start my own F&B companies. Through experience and broadening knowledge, I realized that I will take whatever opportunities that will come to me. I have strong interest in agriculture sector.
- What plan do you have in starting a business? (list existing business)
Currently I have no plan as the future is really unpredictable. Yet, I am building up my knowledge and capital while waiting for opportunity.
Past Experiences
- Describe your past experience (entrepreneurship, or works in start ups etc)
I have started my own small cafe shop in my city, however the business has ceased the operation due to various reasons. I worked for an F&B company during my summer in 2013 - Les Amis companies - a private Singapore company that manages about 25 brands int he F&B sectors.
